Our Egyptologist are hand selected for their experience, communication ability, and their passion for sharing their knowledge with others. We also have a full team available 24/7 for any last minute emergencies or request. Collectively we have over 25 years of Luxury Travel Experience in Egypt alone. 

Transportation

We source the newest and most comfortable modes of transportation available to us. When you tour with us there will be plenty of space on the motor coaches for you to spread out and enjoy the ride. 

Food

Eating is part of the journey. We have selected some of the finest restaurants on our tours. All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) are included with our tours. 

ITINERARY: Overview

On arrival day, guests will arrive at the airport and be greeted by our team. They will be transferred to their accommodation where they can check-in and settle in. The rest of the day is free for guests to rest or explore the surrounding area on their own.

In the morning, guests will have a brief introductory meeting to meet the tour team and receive an overview of the tour itinerary. Afterwards, we will head to Saqqara, a vast ancient burial ground in Egypt, where guests will have the opportunity to explore the site and learn about the history and significance of the pyramids and tombs. Our knowledgeable Egyptologist will provide insights and answer questions.

On this day we will visit the Giza Plateau, home to some of the most iconic landmarks in Egypt. We will have a private visit to the Sphinx Enclosure, where guests will have the opportunity to learn about the history and mythology surrounding the Sphinx and explore the surrounding areas.

After that, we will have a private visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Our knowledgeable Egyptologist will provide insights and answer questions as guests explore the pyramid’s chambers and marvel at its engineering feat.

We will take a flight to Luxor in the morning, where we will visit the magnificent temples of Karnak and Luxor. At Karnak, guests will have the chance to explore one of the largest temple complexes in the world, with its towering columns, impressive statues, and fascinating hieroglyphs. Our expert Egyptologist will provide insights and historical context to enhance the experience.

Next, we will settle board the cruise ship for lunch and to settle in for the next 3 days. In the afternoon we will visit the Luxor Temple, located right in the heart of Luxor. Guests will be amazed by the grandeur of this temple, which features massive statues, intricate carvings, and fascinating stories from ancient times.

In the morning we will cross the Nile River to the west bank and visit the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the impressive tombs of pharaohs and nobles in the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Our expert Egyptologist will provide insights and historical context to enhance the experience.

Next, we will visit the beautiful Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to the female pharaoh Hatshepsut. Guests will marvel at the temple’s unique architecture, including its towering terraces and colonnades, and learn about the life and accomplishments of Hatshepsut.

In the morning we will visit the beautiful Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the temple’s impressive columns, carvings, and hieroglyphs, and learn about the significance of this temple in ancient Egyptian religion.

After the visit to Edfu Temple, we will have lunch on the boat as it travels south along the Nile. Guests can relax and take in the stunning scenery along the river.

In the evening, we will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Guests will learn about the unique architecture and history of this temple, which features two identical temples in one complex.

Today we will travel to Abu Simbel to visit the magnificent temple complex there. Guests will be awed by the sheer size and beauty of the two temples, which were carved out of solid rock more than 3,000 years ago.

The Great Temple of Abu Simbel is dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, and features four colossal statues of Ramses II at the entrance. The Small Temple of Abu Simbel is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, and features beautifully preserved carvings and paintings.

Our expert Egyptologist will provide insights and historical context to enhance the experience, and guests will have plenty of time to explore and take photos of this incredible site.

In the morning we will be in Aswan and visit the Unfinished Obelisk Quarry, where guests will see the largest obelisk ever discovered in ancient Egypt, which was abandoned due to a flaw. Our expert guide will explain how the ancient Egyptians cut, carved and transported these massive stones, and what purpose they served.

Next, we will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Guests will explore this island temple, which features stunning carvings and hieroglyphs, and learn about the importance of the goddess Isis in ancient Egyptian mythology.

In the afternoon, we will fly back to Cairo, where guests will have the evening to explore the city or rest before the next day’s activities.

In the morning we will tour the Cairo Museum, home to one of the world’s greatest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Our expert Egyptologist will lead us through the museum’s halls, highlighting key pieces such as the golden mask of King Tutankhamun and the Royal Mummy Room, which contains the remains of some of Egypt’s most famous pharaohs.

In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner to celebrate the end of our unforgettable journey together. Guests will have the chance to share their favorite moments from the tour and reflect on the amazing history and culture they have experienced in Egypt.

It is departure day for our guests. We will escort each guest to the airport at their respective departure time, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.

For guests who have elected to participate in optional add-on excursions, we will take them to their selected destinations before escorting them to the airport. Our team will ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable final day in Egypt.

Each room features art deco touches, the 542 elegant rooms and suites will  pamper you with Egyptian cotton bedding and rain showers. Interactive TVs offer movies, games and music.

Sonnesta Sun Goddess

The five-deck ship offers 58 standard cabins, 2 Senator Suites, 1 Presidential Suite and 1 Royal Suite with private lounge. All cabins feature panoramic windows, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, safe, mini-bar, music system, individual climate control, television and movie program and bathroom with full-size bathtub. Facilities and services include conference room for up to 16 people, restaurant, lounge, room service, nightly entertainment, outdoor swimming pool with bar service, billiards, massage and spa treatments.

We have taken great strides to not only follow but exceed the health and safety recommendations from the country of travel authorities. With this in mind there may be some additional requirements that our guests must follow while on tour with us.
