The second largest city in Egypt. This easy drive from Cairo is a great way to spend the day in one of the northern most cities. Since the city was founded by Alexander the Great there are several Greek influences and even an amphitheater, which we will visit on our tour.
This full day tour will start in the morning where we will board our luxury motor coach right after breakfast.
We will visit several sites to include: The Alexandria Library, the Catacombs of Kom Ash-Shuqqafa, the Harbor of Alexandria, the Citadel of Sultan Quaitbay, the ancient Lighthouse, and more. Lunch at the popular Fish Market Restaurant is included.
We will return back to Cairo in time for dinner. This optional excursion can be bundled with an additional hotel night stay if needed.
