Day 13
Museum Visit
Details
After breakfast we will be joined by our Egyptologist for a guided tour of The Grand Egyptian Museum (or Cairo museum if The Grand Egyptian is not open). Home to the world’s greatest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. You will be guided through over 7,000 years of Egyptian history. This visit will tie your entire trip together as several artifacts from the sites we have visited will be on display. A highlight, for sure, will be the King Tutankhamun Collection.
We will have lunch at one of the many facilities located within the museum. This way you will have additional time to explore on your own. After our visit we will return to our hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. For those that want to get additional shopping in, we will have a side trip to nearby shops to help you finalize your souvenir list.
In the evening we will have a special farewell dinner where we will say our goodbyes and cement the experience we all had into our memories.
