KV8 Merenptah

Ruling Egypt for almost 10 years the Fourth Pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Ancient Egypt was Merneptah. Merneptah was the thirteenth son of Ramesses II. He was able to come into power because all of his older siblings died beforehand. 

Merneptah Tomb has many scenes that depict the Litany of Ra, the Book of Gates, and many more scenes. You will be able to see Merneptah Sarcophagus in the burial chamber and many other inscriptions along the walls. This tomb has a slight decline and several chambers. One of the many “Must See” Tombs in the Valley of The Kings.
